Dieng Culture Festival will be at the Enliven With Jazz On Top Cloud

Banjarnegara, Mist that fell between the tops of Arjuna temple when the sun begins to set will bring amazing light, as well as the typical cold Dieng Plateau, Banjarnegara, Central Java will be a witness to the usual musical performances targeting the upper class and the elite, 'Jazz Above Clouds'. That's the theme of the musical performances will be held for all people in a series of activities Dieng Culture Festival 2013, which will be held on June 30.

"Initially there were 20 musical groups that want to participate, but due to time constraints, we decided to just eight teams will show off at the show," said Supervisor Dieng Culture Festival, Budhi Herman, Thursday (13/6)

According to him, Jazz on the cloud was initially created as a small event to enliven Dieng Culture Festival. This event tilled mutual aid and voluntary. He said, so far mostly jazz can only be enjoyed by the rich. Later, everyone including people with typical Dieng cool glove holder, can be free to see it.

"It's not the jazz mainstream, and we are not tempted to make it elitist and expensive," he said.

Meanwhile, according to Chairman of the Conscious Tourism Dieng Pandavas, Alief Faozi, the event will be made an annual routine like Jazz music performances at Mount Bromo and Ngayogjazz in Yogyakarta.

"Cloud Top Jazz welcomed by the public, with this show, Dieng could potentially be a prime tourist destination," he said.

Implementation Dieng Culture Festival is now in its third year. The series main activities namely Ruwatan shaved dreadlocks that remains a mainstay, but it unisex fireworks will be held at Arjuna temple complex and local cultural feast. Even today the entire home stay at Dieng already been booked visitors.
